PAINTED 'DAMASK' 

In selecting the wall and ceiling treatments, Buon Fresco coordinated all of the existing elements of furniture, floor covering and window treatments, using carefully chosen color and faux fabric patterns. 

First a palette of Golds was selected - applied to the walls in 3-color Strie' with dual-sheen stencil designs for the picture box interiors, European Paints for the wall surrounds, 'Ochre' Venetian Plaster for the lower walls;

Tip Gilding for the hidden elements of grisaille, select Ribbon gilding, porcelain white for all moldings and the softest gold-green for the ceiling center. 

The extraordinarily elegant results in this home won for Buon Fresco the 1999 national award for best work in decorative paint arts.
