For beautiful, elegant and sophisticated wall and ceiling design. Buon Fresco specializes in creating  harmony  with blends of multiple colors, patterns and styles of Italian Plaster, Painted Finishes and Gold Leafing.  

Victoria, the artistic director of the Buon Fresco studio, puts it this way;  "We view dressing a beautiful room in the same way you might view dressing yourself.  We endeavor to combine an appropriate blend of  disparate examples of texture, color and sheen.  'An example of this would be dressing in a mohair skirt, a silk blouse, a jacquard blazer and finishing the blend with a single strand of gold or pearls.  A variety of sheen, color, feel and effect make for much more of an interesting finish."       Cest' Bon!

As in Math, Music and Science, Art is about relationships,  relationships of form and color.

Different Colors, selected correctly, make each other more beautiful.

As in Music, there is no one note that is as beautiful as a chord.  In Color, there is no one color that is as beautiful as the juxtaposition of appropriate colors in a fixed scenario.

There is no such thing as harmony with one note.

Buon Fresco has a wall finish precept that we observe vigorously in application. 

"Color Selection is 99% of the result." 

Our wall finish success stems from our exploration of relationships between textures  [Painted, plastered, textured and gilded finishes] as well as the intimate relationships of color.  

Do You know how many colors the eye can distinguish?

If color is the reason for the finish, why settle for the 'almost right color'?

The 'almost right' color is like the 'almost right' musical chord.

The best teacher of color harmony is nature, which is the artistry of God the Creator.

It bears repeating that the one immutable precept of this studio is that: Color is 99% of the different between the mundane and the marvelous result in decorative wall art.
